HalloWHEELIE Ride

SO. MUCH. FUN.
I wish I could describe to you how much fun I had last weekend on this Hallo-wheelie Ride up in SLC.  Let me just say it was a total success! My friend Jake and his company Adrenaline Motors put on this end of season ride and had professional photographers come who were interested in doing a documentary on it. There were a total of 95 bikes, almost all of which had riders dressed up for halloween. Some of my favorites?

notice Eric as "hooter girl" in the back!!

thats me! Jake is Lt. Dangle and I'm a Jail Bird.

My personal favorite.

we had a bbq after

Me and Deej

Danny is one of the best!

SERIOUSLY IT WAS A BLAST!! I brought my GoPro and recorded a lot of it and have some sweet videos, but we have someone editing all of the videos to make one sweet one. AHH I could do this every single day given the opportunity.
UNTIL NEXT SEASON!

Up-to-date

It's been so long since I have posted anything! To summarize, school has been going well and so has my new job. Sometimes I have a ton to do and other times I don't know how to balance my free time- it's something I'm getting used to.
I went on a three day backpacking trip for my class and had a great time! Unfortunately, though, it just happened to be the coldest weekend Utah saw since last winter and my tent was frozen stiff come morning time. Other than the lack of sleep and bone-chilling cold, it was so nice to be out in nature and enjoy the beautiful sceneries and what Mother Nature has to offer. I really wish more people would take the time to step away from their technology and notice that there is a world to behold all around them. This may sound ludicrous to many but I decided a while ago that when I furnish my future home I will not center everything around a television.  Yes, I will have one or two but i refuse to put them in my family room. The concept that we literally arrange our furniture and activities around a TV blow my mind, and the thought of it makes me sad. Apparently I felt like going off on a tangent...
In other news...I bought a snake! Her name is Ava and I have had her for about five weeks now. She is a 5 month old California King snake and I love her stinkin' guts! At first she was scared of me (not going to lie I was scared of her too) but after a solid week she warmed up to me and hasn't tried biting me since. In fact, she will come up and nestle against me and even take naps with me. What? Shelby, you let your snake take naps with you!? Abso-frickin-lutely! I am SO glad I bought her- she is so cool!! So stop hating.
